The Developmental Agricultural Association Establishes an Agricultural Pharmacy to Support Farmers in Gaza

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the resilience of farmers in the Gaza Strip, and with funding from the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), the Developmental Agricultural Association has established a specialized agricultural pharmacy. The initiative aims to provide farmers with essential supplies such as fertilizers, pesticides, plastic covers (nylon), and seedlings, tailored to the specific needs of each farmer and their land.

The Association affirmed that this AFSC-funded project represents a practical step toward supporting farmers and helping them face current challenges. It will provide vital agricultural inputs, organize regular field visits, and deliver technical guidance to ensure the optimal use of agricultural resources.

Despite the difficult circumstances in the Gaza Strip, the Association emphasized that continuing to support farmers is a renewed source of hope, reaffirming its commitment to exerting every possible effort to sustain agricultural production, enhance food security, and serve the Palestinian community.
