🌱 The Developmental Agricultural Association Signs a Strategic Agreement to Produce 500,000 Seedlings Supported by Save the Children to Boost Agricultural Production and Empower Farmers and Youth in the Central Governorate
In a qualitative step to strengthen the agricultural sector and empower youth and farmers, the Developmental Agricultural Association signed a cooperation agreement with the Youth Future Rescue Association, funded by Save the Children, to launch a project aimed at supporting farmers and enabling youth to contribute to the development of their resources and communities.
The agreement includes the establishment and operation of an advanced agricultural nursery with a production capacity of 500,000 seedlings suitable for the local environment, which will be distributed across extensive agricultural lands in the central governorate. More than 300 farmers are expected to benefit from this intervention, improving the quality of agricultural production, resource efficiency, and farmers’ productivity under current circumstances.
This initiative is part of the “Youth for the Future” project, integrating young talents into sustainable developmental projects, providing practical opportunities to develop their skills and enhance their participation in serving the agricultural sector and the wider community.
The Association emphasized that this partnership represents a key milestone in improving the agricultural production system and expanding technical and logistical support for farmers, highlighting the importance of ongoing collaboration with local and international institutions to implement impactful and long-term interventions.
The Association thanked Save the Children and its partners for their support, stressing that joint work is a cornerstone for building a resilient, diverse, and sustainable agricultural sector.
