๐ฑ Home Garden Project โ Enhancing Livelihoods through Micro Urban Agriculture

The Developmental Agricultural Association, in partnership with Mercy Corps and funded by the Humanitarian Fund for the occupied Palestinian territory, announces the opening of registration for beneficiaries of the Home Garden Project โ Enhancing Livelihoods through Micro Urban Agriculture, through restricted cash assistance to provide essential agricultural inputs and tools.
๐ฏ The project aims to support the most vulnerable households facing limited access to food and basic nutrition amid worsening food insecurity caused by ongoing conflict, market disruptions, and shortages of fresh produce.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Targeted Beneficiaries:
Conflict-affected households experiencing severe food insecurity in Deir Al-Balah and Khan Younis, with:
โ๏ธ Small land spaces adjacent to homes or tents
โ๏ธ Minimum water availability
โ๏ธ Humanitarian access feasibility
๐ Selection Process:
Beneficiaries will be selected based on project criteria following field assessments conducted by specialized agricultural engineers and social researchers, including:
โ๏ธ Small cultivable land adjacent to the residence
โ๏ธ Availability of a water source
โ๏ธ Low-income household status
๐ Selected households will receive training, technical guidance, and follow-up support to ensure successful establishment of productive home gardens. Attendance at training and follow-up sessions is mandatory.

Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance. Only one application per household is allowed.
