The Agricultural Development Association is seeking to hire a Home Gardening Project Coordinator to work in:
Khan Younis and Central Area โ Gaza Strip
Reporting Line:
The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Programs Manager at the association, in coordination with Mercy Corps.
Job Objective:
To manage and coordinate the entire project team, including agricultural engineers, researchers, and field staff, ensuring implementation of the Home Gardening Project funded by the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund (OCHA) and implemented by the association in partnership with Mercy Corps International, according to work plans and donor standards.
Contract Duration: 4 months
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Coordinate agricultural engineersโ activities and ensure technical specifications.
Monitor field implementation according to work plans and standards.
Coordinate researchers and ensure quality data collection.
Track team progress and adherence to timelines.
Provide technical and administrative support and problem-solving.
Coordinate with Mercy Corps to align implementation with standards.
Review technical and administrative reports before submission.
Facilitate information sharing between team members, donors, and partners.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelorโs degree in Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, Development Studies, or Project Management.
Minimum 3 years experience in coordinating related projects.
Experience with donors and international organizations.
Strong knowledge of small project management and agricultural practices.
Understanding of food security and livelihoods programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital data collection tools.
Skills & Competencies:
Familiarity with project management tools and modern technology.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
Languages: Arabic (fluent), English (good communication skills).
