The Agricultural Development Association, in partnership with Mercy Corps International, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the project:
“Enhancing Household Livelihoods through Home Gardening”
This project aims to improve household food security, reduce dependency on aid, and strengthen resilience by supporting families in establishing small-scale home gardening projects. A total of 25 families will receive conditional cash assistance to help provide the necessary agricultural tools and inputs.
Beneficiary families will be selected based on a set of criteria, including:
- Ownership of arable land ranging from 100 to 300 square meters
- The land must be located in safe humanitarian areas in the central region
- Availability of a water source for irrigation
- The family must be low-income
A team of agricultural engineers and social researchers will conduct field visits to verify eligibility and compliance with the criteria.
Selected families will receive training and guidance, in addition to on-site or remote follow-up, to ensure the successful establishment of productive and safe home gardens.
