Wamda is a community initiative launched by the Developmental Agricultural Association in partnership with the Culture and Free Thought Association in Deir al-Balah, in response to the increasing violations faced by women and girls during crises and displacement, particularly amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Objectives of the Initiative:
Empower women and girls to know their rights.
Provide safe and confidential pathways to report any cases of exploitation or sexual violence.
Promote a supportive environment with clear protection and accountability mechanisms.
Our Vision:
To raise community awareness that rejects silence, and to foster a culture of safety and respect, based on the belief that human dignity and justice are rights for all, at all times and in all places.
